What is Crossfit?
Crossfit is a strength and conditioning program based on constantly varied, functional movements performed at a high level of intensity. It is a combination of weightlifting, throwing, gymnastics, metabolic conditioning and nutrition. Crossfit also focuses on balance, co-ordination, agility, accuracy, strength, flexibility, endurance and stamina. The result being we can do more in any amount of time at anything we want to do. Where do I start?
For all athletes new to Crossfit you must first complete our 10 sessions Foundations class. Foundations introduces all the movements used in group sessions with focus on technique. Classes are listed on our schedule page.
You are then welcome to start group sessions. Sessions will be scaled to your current level of experience. As you progress we will increase loading and intensity.
What if I have never worked out before?
Crossfit is scalable, meaning we can adjust workouts for the absolute beginner. Come in and talk to us and we will get you started on the road to fitness.
